The school

The elementary program at Effort Christian School offers a complete academic curriculum, integrated with Christian character formation.

Our day runs from 8:20 am to 3:00 pm. We also offer partial days for homeschooled students on a case-by-case basis. We welcome you to contact us for more information.

what we teach

Our goal is to provide students with a strong academic foundation.  Our teachers use a variety of techniques to address students’ various learning styles, presenting lessons to meet the needs of auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners.  In kindergarten, our phonics-based reading program ensures students read with fluency, accuracy, and comprehension.  Mathematics instruction focuses on developing both number sense and critical thinking skills through hands-on activities.

in the Community

At ECSP, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom.  Throughout the year, students learn the importance of serving the community through service projects and volunteer opportunities. Our students spend time visiting nursing homes, volunteering at soup kitchens and the Salvation Army, and organizing supply drives for food banks, animal shelters, and families in need.

We are currently accepting applications for enrollment into our School program.
