Patty Kingsley

Patty joined the ECSP staff in 2017 as 3-year-old teacher. She has worked with children for over 15 years and loves displaying her students’ artwork showcasing their creativity.

Amanda Mauck

Amanda teaches a 3-year-old class at ECSP. She likes to incorporate book characters into her lessons and doing crafts in the classroom.

Darlene Parks Colón

Ms. Parks Colón teaches Kindergarten.  She joined Effort Christian School and Preschool in 2010 and has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Hyles-Anderson College, and is honored to have touched the lives of many students and their families throughout her teaching career.

Mrs. Hanson teaches 1st Grade at ECSP. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from York College of Pennsylvania and has over fifteen years of teaching experience.

New Bibles for Preschool

Bible in pictures for Preschool ECSP is proud to announce that new picture Bibles were purchased for the preschool classrooms.  Each teacher was provided with enough Bibles for each child to read during class time and one for themselves.   This is a great way for us to show the children how to find specific stories in the Bible and to follow along with the lessons the teachers are providing each week. Ms. Park’s Receives high honors On Thursday, January 24th, ECSP took an opportunity to surprise Ms. Parks during Chapel.  Ms. Parks was chosen as one of the top three in the best teacher category to become a 2018 CharlottesvilleFamily Favorite!  With over 1300 votes cast by the readers of CharlottesvilleFamily’s Bloom magizine, Ms. Parks was awarded the bronze medal! Being Kind in Ms. Connie’s Class

In our K4 class, we are always talking about being kind and how we can be kind to others. We recently had a special guest (a princess!) visit our class and talk about bullying and being kind to others.
